I don't know about you, but I almost always struggle with getting out of bed. Luckily, I've established a very simple makeup routine that I can do in less than five minutes before I have to leave for class. *Summarized list at the end if you're crunched on time* The first product I use and definitely recommend is a moisturizer. You don't have to use the exact one that I do - even though I think it's amazing for the price - but applying moisturizer will hydrate your skin and make you look and feel more awake. Next, I tackle my under eyes. This requires the most work for me, however, if you don't have extreme dark circles and eye bags, then I would recommend using just a concealer. I use two concealers: a color corrector and a regular concealer. If I'm really running late, I just stick to using the regular one as it saves a bit of time. The Essence color corrector isn't the best product, but it does a decent job and I do notice enough of a difference to keep using it. I definitely want to try out better quality ones so if you know of any, please leave a comment down below! I apply a layer of this first, blend it out, and then add my concealer on top. The Maybelline concealer is my favorite and I have repurchased it multiple times. Then I use a blush to add some color to my cheeks. My top two favorites are by Tarte and Morphe and I alternate between them depending on which color I feel like using. I love the Tarte blush in the shade "Ornate" but it is only available occasionally in sets. Sometimes you can find it being sold on amazon or by other websites. However, Tarte and Sephora sell other shades in both the travel or full size. The Morphe mini blush is only available in this shade and although it is now sold on their website, I got mine in an Ipsy bag. While the Tarte blush is a pinky, coral color, the Morphe blush is a little deeper pink color with shimmer (I can barely notice the shimmer when it's on though). I also like to use a subtle highlighter. My everyday one is by Morphe which I also got in my Ipsy bag, but it's also available on their website or at Ulta. Then I apply mascara. The Benefit They're Real mascara gives my eyelashes lots of length. Lastly, I apply lip balm to hydrate my lips. I've been obsessed with one by Burt's Bees because it feels great and I love how it's made with natural ingredients. There are lots of different flavors/options available but I've been using "Pomegranate" which smells amazing. These don't really tint your lips, however, Burt's Bees does have a line of tinted lip balms if you're interested in adding some color. You can find them in most drugstores (Walmart, Target, Walgreens, etc.), Ulta, or their website. Summarized List: 1. Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion 2. Essence Colour Correcting Concealer (shade: Pastel Yellow) 3. Maybelline Fit Me Concealer (shade: Light) 4. Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush (shade: Ornate) or Morphe Mini Blush (shade: Spirit) 5. Morphe Mini Highlighter (shade: Spark) 6. Benefit They're Real Mascara 7. Burt's Bees lip balm (shade: Pomegranate) So that was a rundown of my simple college makeup routine.
